Dead Battery...

Why is it that the battery on my Sienna will die either when I have to pick up the kids at dismissal time? (it has only done this twice, but both times at an inopportune time) Or this morning when I need to drive the H.S. Freshman over a mile away to catch the bus that has been coming by a whole 10 minutes early the past few weeks? Yes, this morning, dog in the car, son coming into the garage and I turn the key and N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!!!

ACK!! I look over and DH's car is there!!! Not a normal occurrence.... as DH is away on business, thankfully home this afternoon...

On with my story... so I try to get Cooper into the Mini Cooper (Ha that sounds funny) and he won't budge. DS tries to help, but only spooks poor Coops, as DS's backpack fell onto him... In a panic, I told DS to get into the car and we would leave Cooper in the garage. I zoomed to the bus stop, dropped DS off and ran back home. As I was driving home, I began to run through a series of possibilities... did Cooper run off after the car, and we just didn't see him? Did he get into something in the garage and will he be ill the rest of the day... did he run out after a deer? As I drove into the neighborhood I regretted my quick decision to just leave him in the garage.... WHAT WOULD I FIND WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR???????

Good, the garage door was closed, so Cooper didn't trip it as it closed... as I opened the door, I see the BEST thing in the whole world.... Cooper sitting proudly, with his beautiful chest puffed out as Dobies do best... sitting right.in.front.of where we park the Mini-Cooper...

My Sweet Little Baby Boy!!!!!!!!! What a GOOD boy!!!!! and was he happy to see me!!!!!

Thank you Coops for being a good boy!!!!!!

Awwwwww!!! What a nice boy! Sometime they can really surprise us, other times...I left Rupert alone in the house last week, and usually he just sleeps, this time he chewed up the round brush of the vacuum cleaner!
