What we did on our Spring Break

We are back from our tag-along trip with DH. There were a few meetings my husband needed to attend in CT, and we chose to come along, to keep him company. The kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool, I enjoyed knitting *by* the pool, and we just relaxed for two and a half days.

We went out for Sushi at Feng's... yummy! (this picture was taken the next day... we dressed up just a bit more fot the actual lunch LOL)

The kids and I really love sushi, DH had Chicken with Roasted Pineapple, it was a very nice lunch. That night we went to see the 50th Anniversary special production of The Music Man . I *had* to wonder if my teenage crush was there... somewhere... Shaun Cassidy. Afterall his brother was playing the part of Prof. Harold Hill, and Shirley Jones, played the part of Mrs. Paroo. It was such a fun event! The kids liked it, especially Miss M who is 5. We had to run to the bathroom, and she was singing "Maaaaaarion - I like this play Mommy!" too cute.
Baaaaad blurry picture, but it's all I have, sorry... this was taken at the end...

No visits to any yarn shops :( Though we did see a lot of sculptural art on the bridge that we walked across...

Progress on my OnLine Nepal color #782

I also got very far, actually, about the same amount done on the cuff of my Super Secret socks for my Super Secret person.... I'm very pleased with the amout of knitting I was able to get done this weekend.

Too bad I didn't know you were in my backyard. I would have definitely hosted you and the family to some fun. Next time - OK?

I just bought some online yarn. It looks great. Now I can't wait to use it. I thought it would be good for warmer weather.
