For Christmas 2008 I made a mini pair of Fetchings for my daughter, Miss M. A few weeks later our brand new puppy Cooper got one of those mitts and had a few playful chomps and basically destroyed the mitt. It really wasn't able to be fixed. I knew that the best thing to do was to re-knit the one mitt. Only a little over a year later, do I get to it... sigh... why did I wait so long? I'm not sure... but I am so happy that I took care of it yesterday, all while watching 13 Going on 30...
Done, all DONE!!!!!
Color me HAPPY!!

They do love to chew. Thank heavens we're nearing the end of that phase with the Dusty puppy.
Lovely Fetchings!
Looks great. I totally understand the delay. I hate fixing a "finished project" that's already been checked off the to do list, only to be added again. I hope Cooper doesn't get anywhere near this new pair.
It's easy to ignore those small things......(I do it all the time)
