Woohoo! I sure hope they have a thread about posting pictures of your dog.

I'm so glad you're a groupie. I'm going to check it out now (as a visitor, of course)

Do you belong to Big Lap Dog Knitters? It's a fun group, too. :)

I used to have a red Dobie - got her from a breeder in San Francisco. She was the most loving creature, and so protective. Someone would ring the doorbell, and she'd walk to the door with me and stand right next to me until I told her it was okay. Then she'd step aside and let the visitor in, then go lay down next to my chair. She would never take her eyes off the stranger, though. She was the runt of the litter and her ear docking didn't heal correctly on one ear, but I didn't care - it made me love her more.

I wanted to thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog. I've had that same hopeless feeling myself - especially when I realized that I had to start life over at 50. Instead of being settled in my home with my bills in line, money in the bank, driving a car I loved - all the things that I figured I would have - none of that has come to pass. Instead, we have nothing. It's so depressing, and it still hasn't sunk in that Mark lost his job. Now with the health stuff - I'm in remission right now, but who knows when it will come back? At least I have my knitting.

Your Cooper is gorgeous! Congratulations! I don't care what anybody says - even though they tend to attach themselves to one person, they're terrific family dogs. I thank god that we have our Emma - she walks in front of me down the stairs in case I fall so she can break the tumble, which has happened a few times. That round little dog (well, she's not really little - she weighs 50 lbs.) is a true blessing.

Love you, darlin'. :)
