Once Upon a Time...

... there was a girl that fell in love with knitting.

The love began a long time ago, when the girl was a pre-teen, in a land far, far away, Sardinia, Italy, with her Nonna. The girl never got to learn all that much during the times she and Nonna were together... though she has many memories of sitting in the living room while Nonna and the girl's mom, would knit and crochet....

One day when the girl was all grown up she tired to get someone to teach her to knit and understand the Knitter-ese... It happened that the girl went to her LYS and was able to sign up for a Skill Builder class that was to begin *the next week*... it made for one Happy Girl!!!

Along the way the love of knitting grew... and so did the girls' stash of yarn, which she manages nicely, as it is not too out of hand... ;)

The girl went crazy along the way and as her love of knitting grew so did her Gadget Stash... the girl has many, many knitting notions that are Out Of Hand!!!! Cute handmade notions from Etsy shops, some from big box stores, and some handmade by the girl herself...

So the girl posted to her knitting blog to see if any of her friends could offer suggestions on how to best organize all her fun and necessary knitting notions...

I have no idea! But please share when you come up with a good system. Mine are in various little makeup bags (the free gifts with purchase), etsy bags or needle rolls, or plastic bins. And then they are all stashed in the same drawer. So, I guess that's my disorganized system. Good luck!
