For Christmas 2008 I made a mini pair of Fetchings for my daughter, Miss M. Today is trash day. Cooper can go up the staircase, but his paw pads are too slippery to make it down safely... he barks out of frustration to get help to come down. Our piano teacher's husband gave us this rose, known as Seven Sisters. Mrs. Piano was telling me that the plant is many, many years old... the smell is so sweet and delicate. My plan for 2008!When I look at all that I have done with my knitting over the past year, I am as pleased as can be. In October of 2006 I took my first real knitting class. And in the Spring of 2007 I began knitting socks. Summer of 2007, I knit my teeny-tiniest of socks... and now I am making my socks and mini sweaters for my garland... I have come a long way baby!!My knitting plan for 2008?

I have the Christmas music channel from our tv on... it's all the oldies from when I was a kid and I had nothing to do other than revise my Christmas list, to be extra good to stay off the Bad List... and sneak cookies from the big huge TupperWare that mom would store the cookies in - yes, mom, it wasn't always dad . And looked how we filled the time! My mom used up leftovers from my socks that I have knit up this past summer. I continued to knit up the red socks that I will be putting on the front of some cards for the teachers this year.Darn, she had to leave. The clean house I mean. Sigh...I'm not asking for much. I'm not OCD about my house. I just like it neat and clean. And let me tell you, that it was quite the opposite of yesterday!
